Hey thanks! I know what you mean on the drywall screw. The extrustion design actually uses the arc of the head of the screw to flex the part into place. The tolerance is a little bit on the high end, however, it seems to work. I like the stepped flange fastener idea. I also thought about a secondary slot that runs along the face of the mounting area that would allow for post-installation tightening. Hmm....

I really love this piece! It is very elegant and concise. My only concern would be the end-users who are installing this unit. Using a typical drywall screw might be difficult to get the right amount of tension on the fastener to hold the valet in place over long periods of daily use. A custom fastener with a stepped flange would do the trick nicely.

Really great work sir.

Thanks for the kind words on my sugnature sandwich. I bake my Cuban bread on site. Now everyone should beware, the Yakusa is moving in! Baguette laden Wasabe Aioli with Chicken Fingers laid carefully atop the Wasabe Aioli, lightly bathe with Tonkatsu Sauce, blanketed with a light bed of seaweed salad, then finished with sliced pickled Ginger! Thanks!!!
